Have I been saying something about the best weekend?

Well, this last one was even better....a lot better! I went to Mississippi on Thursday for Thanksgiving and I got to meet the other part of the Bush family..like grandma, cousins, aunt; grandma is such a good cook, I got to taste a couple of the traditional southern American foods, live in her cute and old house with lots of pictures on the wall and a big backyard that used to be full of trees until Katrina ruined it. I didn't see it before, so it didn't make a difference to me.

This was my first time in MI and my 1st Thanksgiving in the US! We got back from there on yesterday, I was sorry to leave because it started feeling like home. I loved it! "Mr. X" is doing a great job taking care of me, that makes me feel loved and protected. There's no other place I'd rather be.

I'm living with Marisa's family for this next week and then I'll be moving again for a longer time with Bush family. People are working on their Christmas wish list, and the stores are full of decorations....it feels like holidays already. Life can be great when you live with a purpose and you have the special ones to share it with.

Today ....hmmm..... I got some mixed feelings....I'll be moving out of this beautiful apartment that I've been living in since I got here, so I don't know exactly how things will be in the future, but besides that I feel like jumping up and down....I'm so happy! I just had one of the best weekends and I feel so blessed to be where I am and with whom I am . My God blesses me in so many ways, my friends here are so supportive and the man that I love treats me like a queen. I'm so and very thankful this rainy morning... I don't know if I'll have another place where I'll feel so much like home after today, but that's ok, I don't want to be the one in control of my life because I would mess it up.....God is so good at doing it!

Well, I guess this time my friends from NC, SC, KY are leaving to go to Romania without me...they actually just left a couple minutes ago. But I'll make it, it can't be that bad, next year we will appreciate each other a lot more. I'm so curious how the worship conference is going to turn out. For any information you can check out this blog http://inchinare.blogspot.com/ . If you're in Romania you don't want to miss that.
Things are going good, we are still stuck on "Lost", the TV show that everybody loves. Weather is tricky, one day is colder, the other one is sunny. It's good though. We're getting ready to go to a conference for the home church this next weekend in Tascalusa. I hope you are all doing good....and happy to be alive. Looking forward to hear from you.
By the way, I must thank all of you who have called me, it's been so unexpected and encouraging. Thank you!

This is one of our latest this last weekend in the retreat at Christ Cove. We had a blessed time, getting to know new people, having some teaching on fellowship, worshipping God and singing around the camp fire. Also, some of our guys got to explore a cove that's never been explored before...that was risky but we were so proud of them! We also had the privilege to have a couple of professional photographers with us, so Crystal took some good ones of us.

Last night we had a Romanian dinner with sarmale and chicken soup (that was a totally new original recipe...I made the 1st part of it and Jonathan took care of the end) and we had over some of the people from the retreat....that was fun.

Now it's a beautiful sunny day in Huntsville, we had a late breakfast with Josh& Crystal (very good pizza!), and we're looking forward to meet Bart Justice for dinner. These are pretty much the latest ones.....hope to hear from you. A blessed weekend!

Hello ya'll! I'm back . Life is good in sweet home Alabama and people are very friendly. The hard part was getting here, (thru Philladelphia!), so it's been really bad, but some things are simply worth it.

Saturday we went to visit a couple that we know (Josh& Crystal) played some card games. Then yesterday we went to the home church, that was nice....like a small group meeting. I enjoyed it. It reminded me of the girl's group. Today...I just finished cooking some cabage rolls (sarmale!) with Tarra, my other sister. It's the 1st beautiful sunny day here since I arrived. I didn't catch up with my sleep yet, I'm too busy spending time with my new big happy family: Jonathan, Marisa, Greg and Tara. I'm so thankful for each one of them. There's no other place I'd rather be. Hope you're all doing great, you're all in my prayers. Keep in touch. God bless!
